FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR JEAN BUTLER
My story begins over 40 years ago in early 1980's booking teaching artists into my children's elementary school. My experience is in the school and as an agent for artists. I have served on many non-profit boards in many capacities in the teaching artist and arts in education arena.
I believe that regardless of background, talents, ability or financial circumstances, all students and family audiences deserve access to the rich educational opportunities provided by the arts.
In 2003, I incorporated my DBA into a non-profit 501(c)3 Corporation dedicated to bringing arts in education to students throughout the Northeast.
I coordinate the Cultural Exchange Program: The Senegal America Project and am excited by thoughts of current and future cultural exchanges with artists from around the world. The possibility of bringing Student Representatives and Educators with us on our next cultural educational trips abroad would be very welcome.
I look forward to working with you and your programs!
