Tony’s residency experience covers decades of working with teachers and school districts to design a unique experience for their students. Whether it is working with a specific population, the entire grade level or multiple grade levels, Tony can help customize a residency with you. Team Building, Music students and non-music students, at risk populations — Tony has helped many faculties with how to approach setting up the residency to achieve their goal(s). Abdou Sarr Residencies
Abdou has performed residencies at weeklong curriculum related programs or once a week visits over a longer period. The students will become proficient in the dances and will be able to perform them for their peers (or in an evening or afterschool program for parents). The students follow Abdou and will give their best. My favorite memory is a classroom of students, some in wheelchairs and some not — ALL dancing around the room and laughing and smiling.
